20 Months

Just typing that title reminds me of how time is just slipping away from me. I can't believe Eli and Landon are 20 months old. They are way closer to age two than age one. It's almost getting silly to count months anymore...not that it will stop me.

I haven't written lately about what the boys are up to these days, so why don't we just discuss that right now.

Eli.

My firstborn.
Lover of all things that he shouldn't do.
Ornery.

Looking for excitement.
Rarely remembers prior discipline.
Loves to laugh.

Loves books and puzzles.
Has 18 teeth.
Likes to shout "amen" after praying.

Smacks when he kisses.
Cutest smile ever.
Gives love very freely.
Independent.
Outgoing.

Landon.

Sweetest thing I've ever known.
A little more reserved than his brother.
A tad shy at times.

Sweetest smile ever.
Also smacks when he kisses.
Has 18 teeth to match his brother's.
Saves his love for really important people.

Says "amen" after every prayer.
Melts my heart with his eyes.
Stubborn.

Good eater.
Can sing "The B-I-B-L-E" like a pro.
Loves books and puzzles.

Together.

The perfect team.

Double the love.

Double the fun.

Best friends.

My greatest blessings.

Fun Weekend...Boring Post

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend. All the stars aligned for Dustin to be off three days in a row and we got to go visit my family. I'm pretty sure we haven't all been there since Christmas, so it was good to visit!

We had absolutely no agenda all weekend and it was wonderful. Usually, we are there for some event and there isn't a lot of down-time to just hang out with family.

We did a lot of swimming, a lot of eating, and a lot of being together.

Vacation days are good for the soul! Thanks mom for being such a wonderful host...as usual!

This I Love

I love my handsome boys.

I love welcoming a new, precious life into this world.

I love Noah.

I love when my boys try to squeeze into one little car…even though they have two.

I love cupcakes.

I love spending my days in the backyard playing in a tiny swimming pool.

I love when Dustin comes home for lunch to see us.

I love that we have suffered long and hard the past three weeks as each of my children have cut eight teeth. If you’re really into math, you might know that means sixteen teeth. Crazy. But that’s not the part I love.
I love that it’s over! (There were a few days that all Eli and Landon ate all day long was a popsicle.)

I love mini vacations with Dustin and our boys.

I love this guy.

I love weddings!

I love Lance.

I love my in-laws!

I love Amy.

I love seeing friends and not having any of our (combined) 5 children around, so actually getting to have a conversation!

I love watching my boys have fun.

And oh do I ever love my handsome boys.

I pretty much love my life!

What do you love?
