Speaking of...

Speaking of blooming where you are planted...

Check out my flowers and garden! I was pretty sure that anything I put in the ground and had to take care of would die immediately. Let's be honest...I can barely keep up with the people I'm responsible for, much less a bunch of flowers and a garden! But somehow...everything is still thriving. I've spent a lot of time watering, "feeding", weeding, and tending to these plants. I am thrilled to see our first two tomatoes and our first two roses!

In our garden we have: cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, beefsteak tomatoes, bell pepper, corn, yellow squash, zucchini, and green beans. We wanted to start out small and see how we did this year.

It is so amazing to me that you can put a tiny seed in the ground and something so beautiful and/or tasty comes up! I'm hooked!

And here is a picture Keva took of us Easter weekend. Go to to see a few more and check out her work while you're there - she's so talented! And are those not just the sweetest boys??

Thank you, Keva!

I'm glad to see D'Laney didn't ruin your plants by plucking all the blooms off of them!
