First of all...I've had a lot of people ask me how Harper is and when we go back to the doctor. We actually don't go back until January 4th when we'll see both my OB and MFM (maternal fetal medicine - the high risk pregnancy doctor). We go back to the pediatric cardiologist on January 27th. I'm very grateful that we have this time without a bunch of appointments for several reasons. First of all...it's crazy around here. We've been soaking up all of the Christmas fun with parties, baking, decorating, shopping, wrapping, cooking, planning, and the family fun starts tomorrow and doesn't stop until next Sunday night. We've been busy. We left things on a more positive note and since there is nothing that can be done right now anyway, it seems to me that a lot of monitoring would only make me more anxious. So I was very pleased that we get to enjoy Christmas and New Years and then head back to the doctors very soon after. I'm already ready to see my baby girl again, so it's a good thing we'll be so busy and the time will hopefully not seem so long. I love how active Harper is and I know she's growing, because I sure am. Here is a picture of the two of us at 23 weeks.
The Christmas fun starts tomorrow when my Dad, Kristin, Madison, Katelyn, and Andrew all arrive at our house sometime after lunch. I'm excited to have everyone here for the week. You know how I love family, food, and games and we'll have plenty of that going on. We've also made a lot of progress on our house the past few days and we're all ready to tackle some projects while my dad and Andrew are here to help us. We are getting this place ready for Harper and I'm pretty sure that there are only two rooms in the house that are staying the same. I think it's SO fun to get organized and put everything in it's place...I'm a nerd like that. So this process is just thrilling to me. We have filled the dumpster and have a huge pile for a garage sale (whenever that might be). It feels so good to purge and reorganize. My dad is bringing the boys new "big boy beds" that he made himself. I can't wait to show you pictures of them...they are beautiful!
My excitement about this Christmas makes me feel like a little kid. I don't remember anticipating a Christmas so much ever. I just can't wait for Eli and Landon to open their gifts and experience all the fun of Christmas. They have loved the tree and decorations and especially all the cookies so far. They have no idea the best is yet to come. This will certainly be a fun week.
Here are few recent pictures of my sweet boys:

The boots, pj's, and hat are to cute!! I love footed pj's!!
I love the pic of...Eli? in his hat, boots, and PJs. It's really sad that I have such a hard time telling your boys apart unless they are standing right next to each other...

Dear Amy & Dustin, first a Blessed and Happy Christmas & NY. Just wanted to drop a line to tell you that when I was in Church last Sunday, as usual in all my personal appeal to our Lord, the first person on my prayer list was you, Amy and yr baby girl as I tot it was very fitting just a week before Christmas, the birth of our Lord and I prayed earnestly for our Lord to take care of your precious baby girl. Blessed Christmas. God bless. Ophelia
